Our cpen, meanwhile available on the market in the second version, now features lots of new functionality. The case has been re-designed so that the electronics can be easily updated or replaced. In the case of damaged contact electrodes, only the multi-functional battery cover has to be replaced.
4 Mignon batteries allow continuous operation for more than 4 hours, the stand-by time is almost three times longer now. Upon battery change a buffer electronic guarantees that no ECG recordings are lost.
The overall energy consumption has been reduced drastically by using new circuitry and innovative components.
Each ECG is saved with a timestamp and the current date in the ECG recordings, and can easily be viewed at any time on a high-resolution LCD screen.

The integrated IR interface allows for wireless communication with any standard Windows PC and thus gives you the possibility to transfer the ECG recordings from the cpen to your PC.
The operating system is customizable and can be updated to new requirements using flashing technology.
The cpen is currently delivered in a sturdy lether case with Velco® fasteners and a handy plastic bag.
Accessories: currently we offer a PC software for Windows XP SP2 and an infrared adapter.
